Rugby World Cup 2007
2007 Rugby World Cup
For three weeks in October 2007, Michael became a sports correspondent,
covering the Rugby World Cup for CNN International,
first from Marseilles and then Paris.
His unique perspective as a former pro rugby player
plus his incredible enthusiasm for the sport
radiated through all his reporting, most of which was done
from various locations where fans were gathered to watch the matches.
(No dull pressboxes for Michael!)
He filed 48 reports for International,
plus an additional 4 that aired on Domestic.
Many thanks to Délie (in Paris) for the original clips she was able to grab
and upload for me, and to Mavis (in Atlanta) for getting final versions for me.
